### Merry Christmas
## From YWAM Lausanne
Dear Friends,
From all of us at YWAM Lausanne we would love to wish you a very merry Christmas! As we look back on 2024 we are filled with immense thankfulness and humility as we recognize all that God has done in and through us.
We began the year with a call to deepen our walk with Jesus intentionally. We felt stirred in our spirits to focus on our loving relationship with Jesus. In ministry, one can easily drift into serving God while one's heart's desire for him wanes. As we picked up this word our walk with God has produced much fruit in 2024. We have shared the gospel one-on-one with over 6,000 people and seen over 700 people give their lives to Jesus. We trained 500+ students through 30 courses and extension studies and facilitated over a dozen outreaches around the globe. We witnessed new initiatives burst forth locally, such as an alpha course for university students, or an extension study course for the local body of Christ. The growth in our Biblical studies training has been wonderful to see. Students' lives have been transformed as they explore the Bible. Our work in North Africa has also deepened as we are in the midst of our second Mediterranean DTS.
Our hope and prayer for you is that your life will also produce much fruit as you draw near to Jesus.

## A review of the year
## OUTREACH
### Sharing Truth and Value
**Kingdom Come Testimony**
During the kingdom come event I was blessed to be a part of the Bible distribution ministry. Right before this ministry started I was praying over the table with the team and I said "Lord I know you will bring people to this table who need to meet you" to my left a man walks up and I feel strongly from the Lord to speak with him. This man's name is João Batista ("John the Baptist") and he is from Goiânia Brazil. Which also happens to be the exact place in Brazil where I went for my SBS outreach this summer!
We started talking and he said "I believe in God but I don't like the church.", we kept talking and he kept avoiding the deeper conversations and leaving but then coming back. The third time he left, I prayed and said "Lord if you send him back one more time I will talk about you with him". Little did I know the work the Lord was doing in him. When he came back, I could share what I had learned about what Jesus defines as the church and his love for João regardless of how he views himself. We started praying for him and a staff member came up and asked him if he would like to receive the Holy Spirit and he said yes!
After this João stuck around for another hour or so, and we could speak biblical truths over him, and give him a Portuguese Bible! I could discuss some passages with him and share the heart of God in it from my lectures in SBS and minister to him in the truth of the gospel. This man came to us at the start of the night feeling lost and insecure, but through the Bible, share the Biblical truths that lead to freedom. The Lord made a huge impact in this man's heart that night.

As we reflect on 2024, we recognize that our fruitful efforts have been made possible through your faith, prayers, and generosity. Our growing community of alumni, friends, and partners is integral to the work God is doing through YWAM Lausanne, and for this, we are deeply grateful.
