### Our Heart

On Sunday, we welcomed 85 students across our 5 UofNschools. This week and next, students will also gather in North Africa for ourfrontier-based schools. We are thrilled for the quarter ahead and anticipateGod doing a deep work in our community.

A core value of YWAM is “Do first, then teach.” We believewe lead by example, living out the change we want to see in others, with thatchange beginning first in our own lives.

As YWAM leaders gathered from around the globe this month inThailand, we met with God in a profound way. There was a clear word that Godhas an important assignment for YWAM, but our engagement with it is conditionalon the posture of our hearts. God led us into authentic repentance and arecommitment to lead humbly, live holy, and lean into God’s presence as ourhighest priority.

Following these gatherings, we had our annual staff retreatnear the end of the month. Though planned months in advance, it alignedperfectly with the word given to our leaders’ gathering. We spent threein-depth days learning how to cultivate a life of abundance through Freedom inChrist in our own hearts and how to replicate that freedom in others. Just asin our leadership gathering, there was a fresh commitment to wholeheartedservice unto Jesus, a high level of holiness, and a commitment to intimacy with Him.  
  
With this level of “doing first,” we anticipate that ourstudents this quarter will encounter God in a similar way. We pray they will beset free from bondage and learn to live a life of abiding in Christ, with agrowing desire to share the gospel with those who are lost. The three-day teaching on freedom was connected to theFreedom Seminar we run each year in July. If you want more information aboutthat, you can check it out here.

### Outreach

‍

In the Mongolianwilderness, we had the privilege to visit a Nomadic family in a yurt. Thehospitality they showed us touched our hearts deeply. We were able to share theGospel with them and give them two audio Bibles, which they received with joy!

As we were driving home, we saw a woman who was walkingtowards the city. We then asked if she needed a ride and she joyfully accepted.As we were talking with her in the car, we found out that she had never heardabout Jesus. After sharing the Gospel with her, she ended up giving her life tothe Lord! We blessed her with a Bible and dropped her off at home.

Let’s pray that God will continue to reveal Himself to herand her family as there are many individuals like her throughout Mongolia!

With the start of the quarter, we are excited about this newgroup of students and what God will do in their lives. Unique to this quarter,we are pioneering the Way DTS. This is a reformatting of the DTS, combiningboth the Discipleship Training School and the Discipleship Bible School intoone 9-month program with two outreaches.

Developing a good scholarship fund enables us to welcomemany more students into this extended missional training program. If you wouldlike to make a donation to our scholarship fund, you can do so here.
