The School of Worship (SOW) is an intensive 11-week program designed to cultivate true worshipers who lead others into God’s presence. By deepening your musical abilities and understanding of worship, you’ll learn to create and lead worship experiences that glorify God and inspire transformation. This course emphasises personal growth, skill development, and the Biblical foundations of worship, equipping you to impact communities through authentic worship.

Designed For

This course is ideal for individuals who have completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS) (a prerequisite for the SOW) and are passionate about worship ministry. Whether you’re an aspiring worship leader, musician, or wanting to deepen your understanding of worship, SOW provides the training and experience to enhance your calling to serve in worship in the nations.

The SOW curriculum is structured around three key areas:

Head: Study the Biblical and historical basis of worship, including an inductive study of the Psalms and the history of worship in the church.

Heart: Focus on the character of a worshiper, the role of worship in intercession and spiritual warfare, and knowing God through worship.

Hands: Engage in practical skill development, including worship leading, band practice, songwriting, recording, and creative expressions.This comprehensive approach ensures a balanced development of knowledge, character, and practical abilities.

Course Activities

In this school you’ll participate in a variety of activities designed to enhance your character growth and what it means to glorify God throughout your life. These include lectures from international speakers, small group discussions, community living, daily practical ministries, personal study, worship, intercession times and field trips.

This diverse range of experiences ensures a holistic approach to learning, allowing you to grow your understanding and expression of worship and to share God's love with others.
