Our Heart
God-led Innovation
Dear Friends,
What makes YWAM Lausanne unique? We repeatedly asked this question over the past few months as we worked with a team on developing our new website. Of the many qualities of our ministry, one that seemed to percolate was innovation.
We are embedded in a country of innovators. For the past 14 years, Switzerland has repeatedly topped the charts as the most innovative nation. Our founder Loren Cunningham was an incredible innovator who drastically shifted the landscape of global missions. What drove his innovation is what leads us today: our Creator God—The Innovator. We believe God constantly calls us to do new things in new ways. At YWAM Lausanne, this spirit of God-led innovation is woven into our culture, flowing from our deep intimacy with Jesus.
So, what does this look like in 2025? Several exciting developments are unfolding at YWAM Lausanne. We’ve launched new seminars, tackling topics such as Bible poverty and fresh perspectives on the life of Paul, with more in the pipeline. God is leading us to develop innovative solutions to increase Bible engagement in Switzerland. We also recently graduated our second Mediterranean DTS, a program designed to create pathways for refugees to step into missions—a powerful God-led way to see the nations reached.
Our aim is not to innovate, our aim is to follow Jesus. We believe he leads us all into an incredible journey of co-working with him to build for his kingdom.
With love and blessings, Markus, Anita, Emeline, and Jordan

Forging the Future

We pray and trust that this will be a catalytic tool used by God to launch many more workers into global missions! Please check out the site and let us know what you think!

Outreach
On Missions in Central America
This is Tobia, part of our 2024 Q4 Dts, His team went to Mexico for outreach, where he lived the power of God in amazing ways. "Knowing it would be a challenge to get a taxi during rush hour, a group of four of us prayed. After waving at 30 taxis, one finally stopped. The driver, a Christian who had seen our worship team singing ‘Cuan grande es Dios’ on Social Media, gave us the ride for free, saying it was for God’s glory. It was a powerful reminder that God provides and connects us in ways we don’t expect. Also, once, while evangelising before a kids service, we knocked on one last door after seeing a boy at the window. The three brothers convinced their mother to go, and that evening she accepted Jesus. It was a powerful reminder that God works in ways we may not understand and that we are called to go the extra mile, staying sensitive to what the Holy Spirit lays on our hearts."
