Our Heart

Dear Friends,
A life-giving practice at YWAM Lausanne is our "Prayer Day." Once a quarter, we set aside an entire day to worship, fast, and pray. Over the years, these intentional days have profoundly shaped much of the ministry we now do. They are a testament to our desire to be led by the Lord and provide a powerful way for Him to guide us.
A few weeks ago, we gathered once again for Prayer Day. As we waited on the Lord, verses about miraculous fruitfulness emerged. One passage that stood out was Jeremiah 17:7-8, which speaks of a tree planted by streams of water, bearing fruit even in a drought. This image reminds us that as we trust in God—our constant and trustworthy source—we can experience His kingdom fruit regardless of the season we are in.
As we approach the end of 2024, we are deeply encouraged by this message. Despite the changes and transitions we've experienced; we've seen the fruit of God's work as we've remained rooted in Him. This year, that fruit has been evident in our expanded local ministries, including serving refugees, university students, and our city. We have also seen this fruit in the impact we could have in training students from around the globe who participated in numerous outreaches that saw thousands personally prayed for and hundreds positively responding to the gospel.
May you be refreshed in the coming weeks. Like a tree planted by living water, may you be strengthened in the knowledge that God is with you, sustaining you, and producing fruit in and through you—no matter the season.
May God bless you as you journey with him through the seasons of life.

Outreach

On our first full day of ministry, we were doing evangelism in the nearby community, and we stopped to talk to some kids. Two of us started talking to a 15-year-old girl named Dory, who told us she was on her way home from school because she was sick. We prayed over her, and then joined the kids in singing songs.
The next day we had kid's ministry on the YWAM base, and Dory showed up. She shared with us that she had a bleeding condition, and when we prayed for her, she was healed! When she went home and told her family, her parents started to cry, and her father, who hadn't gone to church in a long time, began considering going back to church! Later that evening, Dory went to church and thanked God for her healing, as she did, she started to pray in tongues!
God moved powerfully in her life, and it was such a privilege to see His hand at work, not only in healing her body, but in her family relationships, too!
Forging the Future

In Closing
We are grateful for your generous support and prayers for our YWAM Lausanne Community. We look forward to our Kingdom Come Christmas edition outreach in a couple of weeks. This is a special season to share the love of Christ with the lost and invite those on the outside, those without hope, those lost and alone into a Christ-centered fellowship, much like God did at Jesus' birth!
We will fill a square in Lausanne with the love and hope of the Gospel as we share the Christmas story. We will invite people to come to the table and have an opportunity to respond to Christ's invitation. There has been incredible fruit at these events this year and we are filled with anticipation of what God will do this time! Please pray for us on December 5th. If you are in our area the evening begins at 17:00 in Place de la Chauderon.
We would also love to invite you to donate to this event and our local and global evangelistic outreaches. Your giving empowers us to spread the gospel in our city and amongst the nations. You can make a donation here.
Thank You
