What is DTS Journey?
The DTS is an incredible program that invites you to go deeper in your walk with God and engage in a life of missions. Following the DTS, many of our students desire to equip themselves further for the call they discovered on DTS either locally or abroad.
The DTS journey combines our most popular courses, which students have found helpful when mapping out their journey at YWAM Lausanne for short—or longer-term engagement. We offer shorter journeys that add one additional course to your DTS or longer journeys that connect multiple courses and field assignments and can develop into an associate degree with the UofN.

Shorter DTS Journeys
Knowing your next step after DTS is essential. At YWAM Lausanne, you can add several three-month courses to your DTS experience to create a more formative year in missions.
A DTS will form and solidify your relationship with God; this is foundational, but what will you engage in next? You might want to grow in your understanding of God’s word. Just as a relationship with God is vital for every believer, so is a robust understanding of the Bible and how to read it. Many of our students participate in a 3-month Bible school after they complete their DTS.
There are other additional courses you can do after your DTS that will help you take initial steps to grow as a missions or worship leader.
Combining any of these courses with your DTS will create an incredible entryway journey into global missions:

Full DTS Journeys
YWAM Lausanne offers multiple learning journeys that begin with DTS and expand much deeper into knowledge acquisition, character formation, and skill development. Following your DTS, you will spend a year on missions, and these journeys can extend to an associate's degree at YWAM’s University of the Nations.
The Bible Journey
A strong foundation in Biblical Studies is essential for living out your calling with purpose and clarity.
The Biblical foundation's journey takes you on a transformative exploration of the entire Bible, uncovering its richness and relevance within its historical and cultural context. Through our School of Biblical Studies, you’ll learn the Inductive Approach—a hands-on method that empowers you to engage deeply with Scripture for a lifetime. Throughout this journey, you’ll study all 66 books of the Bible, discovering how God’s Word shapes your life and ministry.

The Full Leadership Journey
Whether abroad in a developing nation or at home on your university campus, our world needs God-led leaders who know His word, can hear His voice and obey. Following your DTS, continue developing your character and gain valuable leadership and ministry skills to become a well-rounded missions leader. In this journey, you will learn from experienced leaders from across the globe and contribute in a meaningful way through YWAM Lausanne. The Missional Leadership journey concludes with a 3-month Bible school to help you become a leader who is sustained by God’s Word in order to live a fruitful life.
